Mutual Aid Communications Task Force 

About:

The Region II Communications Task Force was developed to provide enhanced communications support during emergencies, community events, and trainings when a single unit may not have enough personnel or equipment to complete the mission. The task force is made up of communications volunteers and professionals with an in-depth knowledge of radio communications and logistics support.

Trainings:

The task force will occasionally host joint trainings to review and practice setting up equipment, learn about new acquired or upgraded resources, and ensure that industry best practices are being implemented into our procedures..

Deployments:

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Communications Unit participates in the Region II Communications Task Force. While we work closely with CAL OES and our regional public safety partners, our members cannot mobilize without an approved mission request and a mutual aid mission number.
